সায়ন: দোলে পুরুলিয়া !!!???

সন্দীপ: এতো দেরি করে বললে পাওয়া যায়..... আগে বললে হতো...এখন আর রুমই পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না......... 

সায়ন: দেখ না রে একটা single রুমও যদি পাস..... 

সন্দীপ: পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না রে.... কাল অন্তত 30টা হোটেলে ফোন করেছি কিন্তু কোনো হোটেলই রুম খালি নেই.... আরে এই কয়েক বছর থেকে পুরুলিয়ায় প্রচুর লোক বেড়াতে যাচ্ছে.... বিশেষ করে শীতের সময়,  আর এই দোলে.... কেননা এই সময়ই তো পলাশ ফুলে ভরে ওঠে পুরুলিয়ার মাঠ- ঘাট, রাস্তা  থেকে শুরু করে সমস্ত জায়গা.... 

সায়ন: তাহলে হবে না?

সন্দীপ: না রে রুম খালি  পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না....

সায়ন: কি গো সন্দীপ বলছে নাকি দোলে পুরুলিয়াতে হোটেল পাওয়া মুশকিল.....

 শান্তিনিকেতনের চেনা রুট বদলে  বসন্তোৎসবের নয়া ডেস্টিনেশন লাল পলাশে মোড়া অযোধ্যা পাহাড়। একসময় ক্ষুধাতুর জঙ্গলবাসী ও মাও আতঙ্কে পর্যটকরা ভুলে গিয়েছিলেন অযোধ্যার ঐশ্বর্য,এখন আবার পিচ ঢালা কালো পথ বেয়ে শয়ে শয়ে গাড়িভর্তি পর্যটক ঢুকে পড়ছেন বাঁকুড়া, পুরুলিয়া ও পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরের জঙ্গলে ঘেরা প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য ভাণ্ডারে।কলকাতার শহরবাসী ছুটছেন সবুজের গন্ধে মাখা বড়ন্তি, গড়পঞ্চকোট থেকে শুরু করে  জয়চণ্ডী পাহাড়ে, যেখানে সত্যজিৎ রায় তাঁর অমর কাহিনিচিত্র হীরক রাজার দেশের শুটিং করেছিলেন...

আসলে পলাশের অমোঘ টান সঙ্গে সাঁওতালি ও ছৌ নাচের ছন্দে নিজেকে হারিয়ে দিতে হাজারে হাজারে মানুষ আসছেন জঙ্গলমহলের শাল-পিয়ালের বনে। বলা ভাল পাহাড় আর জঙ্গলে লাল পলাশে ঢাকা লালমাটির দেশ পুরুলিয়ায়। যেখানে খোঁপায় পলাশ গুঁজে মহুয়া খেয়ে মাতাল হয় প্রকৃতি। আসলে এই বসন্তে বাংলার জঙ্গলমহল যেন এক কল্পলোকের জগৎ!লাল পলাশে আগুন ঝরলেও রাঙামাটির পথ যে ভিজেছে লাল রক্তে।

তাই অযোধ্যা পাহাড়, খয়রাবেরা, মাঠা ফরেস্ট, দুয়ারসিনি, জয়চণ্ডী পাহাড়, গড়পঞ্চকোট, বড়ন্তি এই দোলে হাউসফুল। সমস্ত সরকারি-বেসরকারি পর্যটক আবাস, লজ, হোটেল, রিসর্ট কোথাও কোন খালি নেই, শুধু তাই নয় এই ফাগুনে রাঙা পলাশ দেখতে গোটা মার্চ-ই যেন হাউসফুল পুরুলিয়ায়। একেবারে পরিবেশবান্ধব পর্যটনে পল্লি প্রকৃতির স্বাদে অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ে সরকারি-বেসরকারি যৌথ বিনিয়োগে গড়ে উঠছে কুশলপল্লি। তাই কলকাতাসহ বহু বিদেশীরও পছন্দের জায়গা এই পুরুলিয়া......
